Romanian ruler of Wallachia in the mid 1400's.
He was a fierce ruler and was known for his immense cruelty to his
enemies. He got his nickname "the Impaler" because he
would have his enemies impaled alive on tall wooden stakes and then
dine amongst them whilst the they cried and begged for mercy! Now
thats a dinner party I'd like to go to! All good things must come
to an end and in1476 karma caught up with Vlad and he was killed
by his foes! His head was cut off and his body was supposedly buried,
but tales persisted that the grave was empty! After his death rumores
flourished that Vlad was not dead but had gone into hiding- a mystery
that goes unsolved today 500 years after the fact! The story of
Vlad Tepes was introduced to author Bram Stoker in the late 1800's
by one of Stokers scholarly friends. Though the associations with
Vlad and Vampirism were none existent, Stoker used the diabolical
14th century ruler as a model for his blood-thirsty Count Dracula!
Vlad fit the role perfectly, he died under mysterious circumstances,
his body was never recovered and he got his jollies out of impaling
people! Even the name Dracula or Dracul had occult connotations!
So Vlad Tepes, the ruthless 14th century Romainian ruler, was the
inspiration for the infamous Count Dracula! Now to this klassic
"Killin" Time Klock"! It features a stunning full
color reproduction of Vlad that was painted during his reign of
terror! To his side is Vlad's name writin in fangtastic Transylvania
text! The numbers that surround the entire klock are in a European
type style giving an all over classic foreign flair to the entire
design! Now focus your attention on the killer kustom klock hands-
the hour and minute hands are actually two full color impaled Vlad
victims (taken from an old painting of the time period) that circle
